Stevens, Edwards, & Hallock, P.C., was formed in 1989 by Francis E. Stevens, James L. Edwards, and Joseph E. Hallock. The founding partners each started their private practice in Gillette, Wyoming, and had been members of other firms in Gillette. The firm's practice has grown with the business and industry in Campbell County, Wyoming. Campbell County is fortunate to have a large oil and gas industry, to include coal-bed methane gas, as well as the largest open pit coal mines in North America. Those industries create a healthy business environment with related and support businesses. Ranching also continues to be a significant business in Campbell County.
